We’re leaving VA today and driving up to NY to visit Gary’s parents and family. Weather wise it’s supposed to be a decent weekend albeit a little chilly (by my standards) but I did last minute remember to pack a jacket. What I DIDN’T think about until yesterday is that I know his parents don’t have wireless and I’m pretty sure they don’t even have highspeed internet.

I.AM.GOING.TO.DIE.

So if you get any wierd phone calls over the weekend it’s me trying to connect with the outside world. I need to remember to pack my phone charger.

Well, we’re here in Virginia and it’s overcast and rainy which I haven’t experienced in quite some time because it’s always hot and sunny in Phoenix. I’m loving this weather, in fact I’ll probably go shopping in it today.
The first leg of our flight was… interesting. We took the redeye because we thought it would be relatively empty and that was stupid. I counted over 20 kids on this flight. NINE of them belonged to the same parents. In my opinion if you have nine kids it’s time to buy a van and drive where you need to go (or a private jet). A few of the kids you could hear crying the entire time. Thank God for Ipods.
The second leg of our trip was okay except that I had a rather large man sitting right next to me and thought he deserved both arm rests and sat with his legs sprawled (as much as you can on an airplane). When he fell asleep I shoved his arm off and got comfy. Overall the flights were fine.
Today I’m going to go shopping in this gorgeous (haha) weather and call around for rental cars because we’re driving up to NY to visit Gary’s family on Friday.
I also remembered that military familys get in to Busch Gardens for free so hopefully there WILL be an unrainy day so we can go there when we get back from NY.
I’m outta here for now.

So I am going through the list of things you can and can’t bring on an AirTran plane.
The list is very long but you can not carry on:
Meat Cleavers
Spear Guns
Cattle Prods
Nunchakus OR Throwing Stars

All of this isn’t fair since you CAN bring on “Toy Transformer Robots”.. and yes it specifically says that.
You can also carry on Dry Ice, Jell-O and you can wear your gel bra.

I can’t bring on my pill box though because the pills are not “properly labeled with a professionally printed label identifying the medication and manufacturer’s name or pharmaceutical label.”
The reason I HAVE a pill box is because the retards lost my luggage WITH THE specifically marked bottles and I didn’t have it for 2 days. I am NOT carrying 11 pill bottles in my purse. WTF.

I hate traveling.

So here is a quickie.
Gary and I are taking a redeye flight to Virginia tonight and we’ll be there until the 18th.
We’ll be driving up to NY sometime during the trip to visit his parents.
I’m kinda bummed we’re going to miss monsoon season because the skies are gorgeous but according to weather.com we’ll be getting a nice bit of rain at home.
I’m currently xanaxed out of my mind to keep the fact that I have to fly off of my head.
I still have to pack.
I’m bringing the laptop so I can get some work done.
