God, people want everything, don’t they? Brunette is too harsh as we age. (45 is upon me) Stay bruntte or any other darker color you want while you are young with tight skin and complexion.  Go blonde after 40.  (Or not) My skin in this photo? Is due to botox, restalyne, and rejuvederm. And more than a few painful needle pricks all over my face. I would never go under anesthesia for vanity, but a few injections on rare occasions? why not. As I spent a decade drunk, I feel like I deserve just a teeny bit more youth NOW, while sober. Even if it comes from a needle.

Rachel, I’m hoping you’re getting caught up on your designs, so we can get together next week! This is a case of if I knew absolutely ANYTHING, I’d volunteer to help you get caught up. But I don’t so I just have to cheer you on! Hang in there.

Oh, I KNOW, girlfriend! How much is the restalyn? And who does your hair?
I was thinking the blond would be good, because my hair is so damn gray, I am SICK of coloring it and it only looks good for 2 weeks.

I gotta tell ya Girlfriend, it aint cheap! BUT, I take my allowance, known as Teri’s rathole, save it up and go in! (I’m almost ready for more treatments, just a few hundred more to save.) It is usually $500.00 per unit. That would be for either of the three. Restalyne lasts the longest and is $50.00 more, but worth the extra 4 months you’ll see in the results.

My hiardresser, charges half of the fancier salons. I get cut, color, hi-lights and style for $110.00. And it is the grey that really drove me to go lighter. It shows up too quickly with the darker colors, as you said. I’m not sure if you’re in Arizona or not, but if so, it’s almost worth the outrageous price of gas to go to this gal. She does just as good a job, for half of the price I paid at one of the fancier salons.

I’m rambling in Rachel’s comments. Sorry Rache! I use the restylane to add just a little puff to my upper lip. The juvaderm to fill in (a little bit) the lines around my mouth, and the botox for the forehead, for the middle 11 from scowling. She also puts a little above my eye brows which actually lifts the eyes a little, giving you a rested look.

This photo was taken one week after all three treatments. (I’ve been saving money ever since) And I plan on breaking up treatments so it isn’t so much in one visit. (My son was getting married, so the hubby let me splurge that one time)

But Annie, I would guess you to be about 28 to 30 at the most. (Actually I thought you were 24 or 25) Don’t start the botox too early, or you’ll end up with mottled play dough forehead. (Check out plastic suregery disasters amoung the stars. It’s scary) I just started treatments at age 44, and do my best to put many months in between. That Joan Van Ark looks hideous from over-botoxing.

I would give them just the basics...About Me, Archives, Blogrol, one for crap like statcounter and stupid ass buttons & Credit.  What more do they need?  Seriously.

3T, bah-ha-ha, no, I am old, too. I am starting to get wrinkles between the brows. They only show up in hard light, though, usually it doesn’t bother me too much. But I wonder if I should start the botox. Not that I can afford it.
But the hair, OMG! I started getting gray at 15, started coloring my hair at 35 (I didn’t really NEED to) but now I HAVE to and I’m in a vicious cycle because it’s SO gray. I need to change it.
