PS I am allergic to septra too—and was told by my doctor to always say, “Sulfa drugs” instead of “septra” that way they ALWAYS know for certain since drugs can and do change names… I was given a sulfa drug after letting them know “septra” and was even worse off than the original illness I took it for! Prolly more than you wanted to know - but felt warning you was worth it.
