I haven’t posted because I don’t have anything to say. I lead a very (happy but) boring life and you really do not want to hear about my mundane activities.
I’ll post when I have something to say or complain about.

Right now I have to complain about a movie coming out called “Stop Loss”. I have seen the trailer before ”Charlie Wilson’s War” and before ”Sweeney Todd” and each time it has pissed me the hell off.
I am going by the trailer alone because that is what the movie company wants to show me to tell me about this movie.
Basically a soldier is getting out of the Army but on his day to be let go the Army decides to send him back to Iraq. This is called a Stop Loss. The whole point of the movie is “this poor man has done so much to serve his country and the big bad military/government is screwing him over by not letting him out”.
WHAT THE HELL EVER!
Each man or woman (boy/girl) who joins the military receives a contract. The contract clearly states that they are putting in so much time into the military, generally 10 years. While technically they’re only actively serving 2/4/6 years and can “get out” after that there ARE strings and the military can call them back ANY TIME up until 10 years after they have served and even after that they’ll call and say “Hey, what’s up.. wanna come back?”
IF the man or woman (boy/girl) is not reading the most important contract they’ll ever sign in their lives then they are decidedly stupid and deserve whatever life hands them.
This movie is nothing more than a story that attempts to support our TROOPS while calling the military lying backstabbing bastards.
It’s liberal propaganda and it will.not.work.on.me.

Next? Mexicans. When I was growing up watching Westerns on TV and in movies the Mexicans would always ride around on horses shooting guns into the air when they got excited. I assumed that this was something that happened in movies because I had never heard of that happening in real life.
THAT IS until I moved to Mexico Phoenix.
Once again the Mexicans got way too excited on New Years Eve and someone died as a result of them shooting their damn guns off into the air. Bright side? They’re killing each other and not me.
